Seagate Technology (Nasdaq: STX) disclosed the following on Monday night:

Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On June 27, 2016, Seagate Technology plc (the “Company”) appointed William D. Mosley to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Mosley, aged 49, has served as President, Operations and Technology since October 2013 and as Executive Vice President, Operations from March 2011 until October 2013. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing from September 2009 through March 2011; Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Product Line Management from February 2009 to September 2009; Senior Vice President, Global Disk Storage Operations from 2007 to 2009; and Vice President, Research and Development, Engineering from 2002 to 2007. No changes were made to Mr. Mosley’s compensation arrangements in connection with his expanded role within the Company.
