Trade Minister Naoshima said he was "really concerned about the yen's recent rise", and noted that Japanese firms are "facing huge currency risks". Naoshima suggested that "we may need to take some sort of action in the future", but did not elaborate. USDJPY temporarily jumped about 10 pips on the comments.
