After another warning, this time by Moody's, that the UK is running out of time in its battle to keep its triple A rating and ahead of this morning's Unemployment/Average earnings data, the press reports that [UK CHANC DARLING] apparently ignored the Treasury's advice to reveal the secret loans the BoE made to [RBS] and [HBOS]. The Permanent Secretary to the Treasury told the Treasury Select Committee (TSC) the Chanc should have at least informed the Chairman of that Committee or the Public Accounts Committee of the loans, advice which Darling chose not to follow. Treasury officials have also disclosed that they have drawn up more details on plans for [CUTTING SPENDING] throughout Govt departments from 2011 to 2014. The revelations come as the Chanc will today make an appearance before the [TSC] to give evidence on the recent Pre-Budget Report (PBR) with officials saying Darling will provide further details. 07:11 GMT - Focus comment - All eyes on [EUR/USD], but whilst the pair is poised just above key levels, all market participants are wary of the FOMC.
